As a part of the general English course, all ninth graders of Rappahannock Courfty High School
offered the opportunity to enare

an essay Contest.
The subject will be “The Fight Against Tuberculosis” and is sponsored by the Front Royal-Warren Tuberculosis Association (serving Rappahannock), under the tutelage of Mr. Robert Massie, Jr.
The requirements are: work shall be done by pupils only, the essay shall be written in ink on one tideof die paper and shall consist of not less than 600 nor more than 1000 words. Judging points include interpretation of topic—60 per Icent; originality—15 per cent and neatness and workmanship— 25 per cent. Prizes to be awarded to Rappahannock County Ninth ; Graders will be $5.00 for first, t $£50 for second, with honorable mention for third place.
