Produce More Fish
Your farm fish pond will produce six to eight times as many fish if you fertilize it.
One acre pond should produce ( 300 to 400 pounds of fish each year. ' * -V.

Each time you fertilize your ponds, use about 100 pounds of 8-8-4 fertilizer for each surface , acre of water. Begin fertilizing late this month (last of March or early April) and repeat application each week until the water lodes green or brownish. Then fertilize only when die wtter is clear about one foot down.- ^
You may need to fertilize your pond from six to 12 times a.season.
Broadcast the fertilizer into die wafer from the shore, or pour it slowly from a moving boat. Wave action will distribute the fertilizer.; . There are some “don’t".
