This earnings report is compul- • sory for all beneficiaries whose earned income was more than $1200 in 1957, and who were under age 72 during any part of the year, Parsons said. Failure to file tjhis report by April 15 may result! in a suspension of benefits and a\loss of some future benefits. Tbe report form may be obtained upon request to the social security office. *
Parsons explained that earnings to be reported include all amounts received for work as an employee and any net earnings from selfemployment whether or not sudi income is covered by the* Social Security Act. Income-from savings,, investments, pensions, rentals or insurance does not count as part of the $1200 earnings allowed.
