Above Kates is shown applying Amino Triazole (5) 4 lbs. per acre to Canadian Thistle at the R. W. Miller farm. In control of this week pest Kates reported A. T. A. gave excellent results last year in four out of 6 cases (a) 2 lbs. per- acre. Since one of the failures was at die Miller farm in ’57 Kates was back this month. While here he also assisted your County Agent in chemical clearing of the Sperryville Boys Scout Camp site located on route 600 which was donated by Ned Johnson. A portion of the area was treated with Karmax donated by Mr. Enis local duPont representative.
