Funeral! services for Mr. Jama _ Griffith were held Saturday July 5th at 2 o'clock from the chapel of the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, Va. The Rev. John Divers and Rev. Joseph Grable officiated.

Mr. Griffith was born in Raj>r_County June 1st, 1880 4 son of the late Richard and Lauinia Way land Griffith. He was formerly married to Miss Ruth Mae Bruce who proceeded him in death. The following children survive ; two isons Haywood S. Front Royal; M/Sgt William S., Westover Air {Field Mass., four daughters Mils. Louis Moore, Flint Hill, Mrs] Arnold Stranch, Eton College, NL C. Mrs. Russell Jones, Winchester, Mrs. Roy Williams, Front Royal. i , _ ,
He later married Elsie Lee Cannon Who survives with the following children; Mrs. Murphy Reid of Castleton, A 2/c Richard Ev U. S. A. F. Vermont, and thirteen grandchildren. »•.
