There will be services at Promise Land Baptist Church, Washington, Va. Sunday* June 28. The 11 a.m. services will be rendered by our pastor, Rev. L. C., Childs. A special musical program will be given by Mrs. Dewberry of Washington, D. C. at 7:30 p.m. This program is for .the benefit of die; building fund of the church.
Everyone is invited to help make this program a success. The Hopewell Missionary Circle will meet at Mrs. Annie Carter’s on July 1, at*! :30 p.m. All members are asked to be , present. Y.~ is visiting his mother, Mrs. Mary Fitzhugh. James Russel, Bobby, Ronald and Bernard Harris of Washington, D. C. were Monday over night guests of Mrs. R. Russell.
