Kicks Off From
Rock Mills
Last Sunday afternoon Cecil De Priest of Cupeper began his annual raft-fishing trip as he embarked 1 from “Roaring Rock” at Rock Mills. The trip which was originally scheduled to begin in Culpeper was cancelled because of nfuddy w?ters.
Gene Willis Wells, photographer for World Magazine and Bob Krause, managing editor of the publication, also joined Mr. De Priest, and a friend Mr. Whitesell of Staunton, They will travel with the fishing expedition and do t' photo-news story of the trip.
Camping over night on “Roaiing Rock", they were joined on Monday morning by Mr. E. J, Pawley for an early morning rainbow trout breakfast before shoving off. vl t
Lawn Party
There will be a lawn party at Willis Chapel Church on July 4th beginning at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
