Mumps a it rewarding. They furnish a rare and wonderful opportunity to stay at home for a whole week. How nice to be there when the children come rushing home from school full of the events of the day.and too, 1 had almost forgotten how many times a fouryear-old asks Why, in the course of a day.
Being home, and not feeling very badly, presented an excellent opportunity for some baking... 9 pies and 2 cakes, baked and consumed in a matter of a few days.
The cards, phone calls, gifts and visits, greatly appreciated, bringing warmth and the assurance of being cared for and missed.
I.a t but not least, the kindness of fellow members of the graphic arts, ready to leave their own work or lend their employees to help a friend in need ;(fid the extra efforts of fellow workers, who so ably came through in an emergency.
Yes. mumps are rewarding.
