Jack Miller has been right sick but is worlds better now, Achsah told me, however John Snead doesn’t want him to go back to work for a while. Certainly seems strange not seeing and hearing him up town. I miss him.
Ruth Stevens bought some paint from Gilliams in Front Royal recently. She told them she was from Rappahannock and had seen their ad in our paper. Thanks Ruth, it all helps to get ads—and that bit of kindness got me a swell one today !! That’s why they advertise, so let them know when you go in the stores, that you read their advertisement in the Rappahannock News.

Incidentally, Nancy Latham had just made a purchase in Leggetts the other week, when she ran into Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians in Culpeper, so now she has all of the bands autographs on the white paper sack from Leggetts.
