Army Sgt. Calvin B. Racer, son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Racer, Sr. of Washington, Va. recently was assigned to the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood, Tex.
Racer, communications sergeant in Company D of the division’s 67th Armor, entered the Army in 1951.
