May /8th is the deadline tor pledges for the industry which Rappahannock hopes to locate in the county soon. The Industry Development Copunittee reports that to date over $30,000 has been pledged ,but the remaining amount to make $40,000 must be forthcoming by May 28th in order to avert the chance of its locating in some Community other than Rappahannock. The goal is too near, the committee has worked too hard on this project, which will mean' so much to the county, to loose this industry for the lack of a few thousand dollars.
Anyone interested in making a pledge for this purpose, please act quickly and turn in your pledge to some member of the committee as soon as possible. The committee will meet May 17th at 8 p.m. in the courthouse at Washington, Va.
