The Red Cross Bloodmobile will visit Rappahannock County next week, giving us another opportunity to donate blood that others might liye. Date: Wednesday, April 5 Time: 12 noim to 4:00 p.m.
Place: Flint jHill Fire Hall The Red Cross Bloodmobile is visiting us just? as Spring weather breaks. It’s a good time to take stock of our part in the Blood Donor Program. A few people have really done their part and then some, coming forward to donate a pint of blood every time the Bloodmobile visits the county. We jexpect to see them again on Wednejsday. But their unselfish gift is not enough to keep pace with the constant requirement for blood by the sick and injured. A lot more of i|s need to join the band of loyal donors.
Perhaps we hjave thought, about doing just that!but something always comes up to prevent us giving blood. Something always will get in the way if We let it. There is always more than enough work to do around thej farm or at our desks. We are jafraid that giving blood will so Weaken us that we won’t be able tp work for a day or two. Actually, most people go right back to Work after a brief rest at the mobile unit. And they return to work with the satisfying feeling that they were able to help some one Who needed help badly. Just think, the blood that makes fife possible fort us can, be , used to make life possible for someone else too. It is not often that we get a chance to share our lives with others in such a direct way.
So, come on but on Wednesday and give a pint pf blood that others may enjoy tljis spring with us.
