Austrian skier, has been engaged to head the Skyline Ski’School this year. Mr. Mair has had extensive experience as a sk^ school director and instructor in ski areas both in this country and throughout Europe. An operations crew of local personnel has been assembled. The crew will be headed by Mr. Edward J. Pullen of Washington, Va. Mr. Jewell Blankenship, well-known in Virginia ski circles, will again head the Ski Patrol.
Since skiing is one of the most rapidly developing leisure time activities, Rappahannock County should enjoy its share of the ski boom this year.

Tom Rees, a member of tht Rappahannock Lions Club, led a discussion of gun safety at the Rappahannock Lions November 25th meeting Rees who is an antique gun collector, exhibited his collection and gave a brief history of the guns.
At the November 12th Lions meeting, 0. A. Norton, Superintendent of Rappahannock Schools, gave a progress report of education in Rappahannock County over the past ten years. Highlights oT Norton’s speech were:
