A.H. Paessler, Deputy Executive Secretary of the State Water Control Board, told the Supervisors that the SWCB had been involved with Sperryville’s problem since before 1968 and that progress had been “very, very slow; we have been patient because we thought the wheels were in motion to get the problem solved.” Paessler said that if the plans outlined were continued, it “would take care of Sperryville’s problem in a very fine manner.”
