As we express our appreciation to all the volunteers who participated in this public service clinic, we want to particularly thank Dr. Jerry Martin, who not only was one of the examining doctors, but who also gave the use of the Rappahannock Clinic and to Dr. John J. Payette of Culpeper, Dr. R.S. LeGarde of Orange, Mrs. Frances Thornton, Public Health Nurse, Ms. Eletta Long of the State Health Department in Richmond, the nurses and all the volunteers who did both the preliminary work and yeoman duty during the clinic. We also thank the Trinity Episcopal Church for the use of the parish hall, the Rappahannock News and the many other organizations who helped with the publicity.
