Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company will be selling 911 Address Signs at the Farmers Coop in Sperryville and Mayhugh's Store in Amissville from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. The cost is $15 and signs can be made while you wait. The reflective numbers help emergency vehicles cut down on their response time. If we can't find you, we can't help you. Minute Chapter
The Saturday, May 10, meeting of The Culpeper Minute Chapter of the NSDAR will be held at the Madison Inn, 217 North Main Street, Madison, VA 22727, 540-9485095. The luncheon-meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. Afterwards members may take a trip to the Barboursville Rums on Route 77. Preserved as a ruin after its destruction by fire on December 25,1884, Barboursville was one of the largest and finest residences in the region.
