This is an invitation to see plants and flowers in a new light! We ll begin with direct observation and explore form, pattern, and color of our local spring gardens and native species. We ll be drawing and gradually integrating watercoior painting. 1st session- May 15-July 3rd, Thursday afternoons 1-3 pm. 2nd sessionJul/2- August 20, Wed. afternoons 1-3 p.m. June 7Drawing Horses 1 & 2. This first course will introduce foundation drawing of beautiful horse forms and gestures. We'll start working in the studio (with the assistance of my miniature horse- "Firefly"), then we'll visit several stables over the coming weeks to observe and draw a variety of horses, even foals! Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) is hosting the Fourth Annual Rappahannock Evening View. This event recognizes Rappahannock's recent conservation easement donors and benefits the Rappahannock County Farmland Preservation Program. This year the event will be held at Caledonia Farm - 1812, the home of Phil Irwin, and will begin at 6:00 p.m. Open seating is $125/per person though sponsorship tables for a party of ten are available for $3,500, $2,500 or $1,500.
