May IS: ‘Shining Lights’ come home
to Luray
Four local favorites take foe stage at the BB&T Center for the Performing Arts May 17 at 7:30 pm. ‘Shining Lights of Luray’ features EStela Knott, Christopher Jenkins, John Jennings and Pops Walker.
John Jennings is a longtime member of Mary Chapin Carpenter’s band and resides in Page County. Estela Knott grew up in a bi-lingual household in Luray, Virginia. Her music is inspired by a blend of North American, Latin American and African influences.
Christopher Jenkins graduated from Page County High School in 2003 and is currently a student of Washington luminary Larry Snitzler. Pops Walker retired in Page County from the military in 2003 and brought his acoustic Southern Fried Zen Mop with him. He is a frequent performer on the PAL stage, and is a great supporter of PAL! “The Vault," PAL’s cash bar, will be open.
