Wednesday dawned bright and fair and manygood people responded to tbe call to beautify our Silent City of tbe Dead. Much work was donti and all worked faithfully. There is still much to do and we hope many will go before decoration day that could not go Wednesday^ or band in tbe money to Dr. Oldaker, Secretary of tbe Cemetery to have their work done. We are talking of having the forest trees cut out of the Cemetery. If you have any objections to having them cut oft your lot please notify the Secretary. The heavy coat of leaves makes it impossible to keep the Cemetery in good condit on acd is fast killing the grass. Much credit is due to the men who furnished teams and automobiles to cany the people to the^Cemetery and to the farmers who left their fields In this busy season to labor for the good of-the Cemetery. We noticed many soas and daughters of the Pioneers of our County thereat work on the resting places of their parents.
