Doctors New on aud Oldaker, the President and Secretary of our Booster Club solicited the business men for funds with which to again organize the Exira Concert Band and to put on Saturday night concerts in our little oity. The Concerts a the past yeais hare been highly appreciated by nearly everyone. We say nearly, because the crowds that came to town Saturday evenings would fill the stores before returning home and the excep~fcion would be the clerks, who were usually detained to wait on tne trade. From this point, it's hard on the .clerks but pleasant to the proprietor. -As all great events that calls the peopie from country to town whether for '•^amusement or for business must be afforded the proper treatment, we natursally expect selfish motives to be cast -aside and an extra hour devoted to the •'-comfort of the customer and to the .. profit, of the employer. Wo learn the sum raised is inadequate for the services required but perhaps a few more dollars can be raised for the purpose and it may be that the band boys,—no 'we won't ask the dear boys to blow their heads for less than they usually got on former occasions so trusting in the generosity of a liberal hearted pub'•, lie we hope the amount needed will
