I believe that my former experience of several years in this work has fitted me to satisfactorily take care of tHe patrons and the duties of the office. My entire career has been spent in newspaper work and other toils which would tend to increase my qualifications for this position and aid me in carrying out it's duties. My petition contains the names of several hundred farmers and business men of this community. The appointee will be the man whom the people desire to have serve them and I therefore will appreciate any assistance that is tendered me. I have no "sidelines" to occupy my attention and in case I am honored with the appointment my entire time will be devoted to the duties of the office and you may feell assured that you will receive the same courtesy and promptness that has marked my work in the past.
