We sailed from Philadelphia July 16, and a big crowd was at the wharf to see us off. The voyage turned out to be nothing more than a ten-day play spell, with no one much under the weather and everybody keen for whatever sport was available. I don't mind telling you that poker lost none of its charm at sea, and my luck kept me.cheerful most of the tlmQ. For my part, I was sorry when we reached port with those 14 games of ball ahead of us and also seven games of oricket, which I forgot to mention until now.
