Mrs. Annie Hilldrup Pullen, widow of Reverend Thomas G. Pullen, died February 19 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Arlington.
Mrs. Pullen, daughter of the Reverend John W. Hilldnip, Confederate veteran and minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, and Virginia Guerrant Hilldnip, was bora August 26, 1869 at the home of her maternal grandfather, Anderson O. Guerrant of Buckingham County, j
For fifteen years she was secretary of the Methodist Women’s Society for the Charlottesville District of the Virginia Conference.
Her particular interest was missionary work among mountain people and she spent much of her time visiting the Methodist schools and mission churches in the mountain districts, j
Funeral services were held*at 2 p.m. Monday, February 21, : from the Flint Hill Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery, with the Reverend H. G.
