A2/c William McKinley Dennis, Jr. entered the Air Force in February 1954 and took 2 months training at Sampson Air Force Base, New York. TTien he was ' - ’transferred to Denver, Colorado for eight months training in school there. He completed this course as ' a camera, repairman. Recently A2/c Dennis was home on a 25day leave, to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley" Dennis of Washington. A2/c Dennis is now stationed in Del Rio, Texas.
ERNEST TAL1AFERO "Ernest Talifero, a long time resident of Flint Hill, died February »11 at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. Funeral services were held in the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill February 14 and he was buried in the colored cemetery.
Mr. Talifero is survived by one son, William Talifero, of Manassas and one daughter, Annie Elizabeth Martin of Washington, D. C.
Mr. Taliafero was held hi high" esteem by the community.

Hugh Edward Jackson, colored citizen of Boston, died at his' residence Tuesday, February 15 after a brief illness.
Deceased, 76 years of age was the son of the late Henry Jackson and Mrs. Mandy Noakes Jackson of Rappahannock.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the. Shiloh Baptist Church, Wood'ville, with ihterment in the church cemetery. Rev. J. J. Jackson and Rev. C. H. Sanford conducted the last rites.
