Frank E. Butler
Frank E. Butler, prominent titizen and fanner of the Beaton neighborhood, died Friday, February 18 at the Univenity of Virginia Hospital, where he had been a patient some weeks, following a brief illness at his home.
Mr. Butler, 68 years of age, was the son of the late Charles Edward Butler and Mrs. Mary Agnes Settle Butler.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in the family cemetery at Boston. Rev. George W. Bowman, III, his pastor, was the Officiating minister.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patsy Ollie Smith Butler of Boston, one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Burke, two sons, Franklin and James; four sisters, Mrs. Carlyle Brown and Mrs. Wallace Weaver of Boston, Mrs. Annie King of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Washington, D.C. Also two brothers, Brook Butler of Arlington, and Preston Butler, of Riverdale, Md.
