State.' In 1954 it trained 14,548 Vir^ ginia citizens in first aid, 9,324 I citizens in water safety, and gave f 1,867 other persons training in '• Home Care of . the Sick. 5 Through membership in the Ju- nioi' Red Cross 452,320 children - in 1,424 elementary and secondary schools in our State were taught >> the values of good citizenship and , 'international understanding... ^ The Red Cross renders inestimable service to people throughout our nation and the world, and I take pleasure in designating the month of March as.
