Mrs. B. F. Bruce, Assistant;;. Cashier of the Rappahannock National Bank, Washington, Va. was given a U. S. Treasury Award February 1956 in recognition . of outstanding service to country and community for the sale of U. S. Savings Bonds in excess of her assigned goal.
The award is over the signatures of Secretary; of the Treasury Geo. M. Humphrey and State Chair* man of Volunteers C. Francis Cocke, President of the National Exchange Bank of Roanoke and past President of the American Bankers Association.
Presentation was made by Mr. William H. Lyne, chairman of the Savings Bond committee of Rappahannock County.
