Washington News Notes
Mrs. W. G. Eastham received a phone call from her mother, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. (in Sarasota, Florida for the winter months) telling her that the family was fine and the weather warm and sunny.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Glick and children of Port Republic, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Racer.
Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Biedler spent the week end with Mrs. H. J. Racer. Mrs. Racer returned to
Washington, t). C. fof a day’s visit with the Biedlers and /Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis.
H. J. Racer was home for the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Updike were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Ramey in Slate Mills.
Mrs,. D. B. Burton returned Sunday to her apartment in town.
L, V. Merrill was in Winchester on business Tuesday. Mrs. Merrill accompanied him as far as Front Royal where she visited friends.
Mr.- and Mrs. A. *H. Blacklock. of Catonsville, Md. spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs.
