Dramatic Club
Less than a month ago a dramatic dub was formed here at R. C. H. S. under the direction of Miss Dillon. Already in rehearsal, is a one act play to be given in high school competition.
At the first meeting the following officers were elected: President, Faye Black, Secretary, Jimmy Yates, Program Chairman, Frances Walker, Co-chairman, Jehane Dillinger and Georgia Standish.
It was decided that the dues would be 10 cents a meeting.
The play now in rehearsal is “Mr. Box and Mr. Cox” a comedy by John Madison Morton. Tryouts were held and Galley Smith, Francis Bruce, and Mary Norman Davis won the parts. They are entering the competition at Garfield High School on Feb. 27th but before that we all had a chance to see them act on Feb. 24th. here at school. We wish them all the best of luck and know they will do their best to come home winners.
