Mr. and Mrs. James S. Dodson announce the birth of a son, John Paul, February 10 in the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Dodson and son have arrived home and both are doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Adren Dodson of Staunton have returned home from a two week vacation in Florida. Mr. Dodson visited his mother, Mrs. Jack Dodson, Saturday. , ,
Mr. Herbert Faster returned home from a business trip to Richmond, Thursday
Miss Mary Anna Holland of Clifton Forge was the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. James N. Frye last week. She taught first grade in Flint Hill school last year.
Mrs. Angus Hopkins and children of Wodstock spent Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cary.
Miss Judy Lillard was engaged in a game in which she was blindfolded and struck her head on a bed, causing a painful bruise, Sunday evening. She has been under the doctor’s care having had x-rays taken at Warren Memorial hoppital, Monday. The accident occurred in her home. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Moffett Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keyser, now of Georgia, where they will be stationed for some time. Mr. Keyser is in the Army. Other guests of the Pullens were Mrs. Addie Keyser, Mrs. John Cloud of Washngton, Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson and son of Sperryville visited Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady had as their guests, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane, Miss Louise Brady, of College Park, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton of Warrenton, Miss Ann Brady of Winchester, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett’and children of Front Royal. Mrs. Brady has been ill for about two weeks and is feeling much better now. Mrs. Crane and son will remain with Mrs. Brady for a few days. _
