I :• Mr. Glen Wiliams, Sr. and Glen, Jr. are recovering from a week of illness. l Miss Addie Boyd went to Charlottesville to bring some patients from the hospital Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Reynolds were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Leonard in Washington. The Reynolds had as their Sunday guests, Mr. and Mrs. Reid Dobbins, arid Mr. and Mrs. Irving Dunn of Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray, and Mr. George Settle and Miss Kate Walker of Powhatan, Va. were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle.
Mrs. James Nichoson and Mrs. John Vest were hostesses to a linen shower given in [honor o f Mrs. Grady Vest, in the home of Mrs. Nicholson, Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Vest have moved into their trailer home, recently. Among the guests who came to bring gifts and good wishes were: , Mrs, Will Dodson, Mrs. Nelson Atkins, Mrs. Courtland Fincham, Mrs. Larry Welch, Mrsi. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. J. P. Walters, Mrs<cfL*ster Clatterbuck, Miss Doris Atkins, and Miss Virginia Ree; Dodson and Mrs. Florence Weakley. Refreshments were served by the hostesses. !
Mrs. F. C. Cleverley is spending a few days at her ho^ne, Little Red and will return to Washington, D. C. Thursday. j
