Knrt Volkert
The students and''faculty of RCHS are happy to welcome a new student, Kurt Volkert. Kurt is making his home with his cousins, the Quasebarths, near Woodville. has had the equivalent of our high school education in Am berg, Bavaria, but is brushing up oh his English by attending classes in grammar, American literature ‘ and agriculture. As of yet he feels he has not enough time to decide which classes he likes best, but feels American schools aren’t as strict as German.
Kurt* who is 19, likes'" movies, jazfc, dancing, hunting and painting. His favorite song is "Old Man River” and his favorite sport ii skiing.. . , - *■; v-a V.. .-.V
We are glad to have Kurt here at RCHS and hope he enjoys it as much as we enjoy having him.
