WASHINGTON

Lieut, and Mrs. C. G. Reid Jr. returned to Norfolk Sunday, after spending a few days with Lieut. Reid’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G.. Reid. Joe B. Reid, who has also teen on a short visit to liia parents, returned to New York Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser were guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller at Maple Springs.

F. Clyde Baggarly spent Thursday and Friday in Washington, D. , C. Mrs. Baggarly who had been visiting there since Sunday, returned to Avon Hall with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Jett Woodard and children spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Updike.

Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall had with them for the day, Sunday their son-in-law and daughter. Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Callahan and children, Carole, L. T. Jr., and (William of Washington, D. C. Also Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith and daughter, Susan of Charles, ton, W. Va.
