at bridge on Thursday evening at Sunstroke Manor having as her guests Mrs. Frankie Menefee who won high score for club members Mrs. C. E. Johnson won high for guests. Miss Louise O’Ban non traveling. Mrs. Branch, bingo and low went to Mrs. Charles Estes. Others playing were Mrs.. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. I. J. Kilby, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. Kitty Mason. Mrs. R. E. Thompson, and M rs. Regan. After the awarding of prizes the hostess served a delicious salad course.
Miss Sallie Bushong and Miss Frances Fletcher Smith are guests this week of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher Miss Ann Meade Smith will join them later for a visit at Thornton Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown and family were week end guests at Rock Villa with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown Sr. Susan Brown, who had spent part of last week with her grandparents returned to her home in Charlottesville with her parents Sunday night.
