Monday Mrs. Menefee and her guests were luncheon guests of Capt. and Mrs. E. R. McElfresh in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Jenkins have announced the marriage of their daughter, Estelle Rose to Weldon Skiles on June 27th in Washington, D. C. The couple left immediately following the ceremony to make their home in Mundy, Texas.
Mrs. Perle Coffey went to Richmond on Friday arid on Saturday accompanied by her sister, Mrs. May Goodman and her nephew, James Nelson Rector, motored to Tyro where they spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Coffey. Guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr., Were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and her brother, Maynard Nethers.
Miss 'Edna Tates Schaefer and Miss Cathy Laing left Saturday to attend a ten-day session of the Summer Conference at Roslyn near Richmond. The Episcopal Center for the Diocese of Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and Susan motored to Richmond with their daughter and Miss Laing on Saturday.
Mrs. Hugh Atkins, Mary Sue and Hugh, Jr., returned home Saturday after spending the past week with Mr. Robert Atkins in, Chester, Penna.
First Lieut, and Mrs. Carroll Menefee and their children are in Lovingston for a week’s visit with Mrs. Menefee’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Campbell, after which they will be with Lt. Menefee’s mother to conclude their thirty-dav leave.
