The Home Dem. business meeting has been postponed until further notice.
The 4-H members taking the “Home Grounds” project had their July meeting at the home of Mrs. LeMerle Williams recently.
The rain failed to dampen the spirits of about twenty teen-agers that gathered at the home of Miss Carolyn Williams Thursday night for a weiner roast. The food was prepared and games were played in the house and a good time was had by all.
Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Greeley are vacationing in Washington, D. C. and vicinity. ' ' Miss Margaret Williams returned recently after spending several days with relatives in Baltimore Md.
Miss Gertrude Shipp of Bentonville,, formerly of Rappahannock, was a week end guest of Carolyn Williams. r
Mr. and Mrs. Jabo Williams motored to Charlottesville to see Mr. George North who is a patient in the University Hosptal. Mr. North is formerly of Chester Gap.
Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams and family accompanied by Miss Gertrude Shipp enjoyed swimming and picnicing at North Beach Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Mahoney and family and friends spent the week end at the beach.
