SPERRYVILLE BRIDGE CLUB ENTERTAINED

• Mrs. C. E. Johnson entertained the Bridge Club and additional guests' on Thursday evening at her home here. Those playing were Mrs. Dennis Regan, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. John S. Davis, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Miss Betty Johnson, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Kitty Mason, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. I. RKilby, Mrs. George Taylor and Mrs. Jack Weaver. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Taylor.

SPERRYVILLE

Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Smith Bill Howell and Ralph Aiken of Washington, D. C spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Brown. Elizabeth Smith who has been with her parents, returned for a longer stay.

Mr. E. T. Sawyer, his daughter Mrs. Donald Kight and son who came on Wednesday, from Catonsville, Md. to return with Mrs. Sawyer were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman and dinner guests on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. George Brown.

Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Brown were Mrs. W. W. Sealock and daughter Mrs. Richard Palmer of Falls Church. Jtfrs. Georgia Wood Stout is visiting her son-n-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Adams in Washington, D. C.

Mrs. Mary Thornhill,Mrs. J. Rodes Brown and Mrs. Paul Thompson were guests on Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown at Leesburg. Mrs. Thornhill left on Thursday for her home in Glasgow after a visit at Rock Villa
