Sale Monday Sept. 16
If you are planning to invest in candy, wait until Monday night September 17th add you will have an opportunity to buy “Golden Crumbles” right at your door. Golden Crumbles are hard filled candies, they are vacuum packed and will keep indefinitely. You can stock up on them for birthdays and Christmas.
The Methodist Youth Fellowship groups of the Sperryville and Washington Churches are sponsoring the sale with Mrs. Wallace Critzer and Mrs. Virginia Estes in charge of the sales in the Washington and Mrs. Catherine Brown and the Rev. A. D. Goodson in Sperryville.
The young people plan to sell 144 boxes at $1.00 per box, 72 in each town, so be ready for them they will be knocking on your door.
A piano donated for their social hall^ needs repairing,they have decided to do it “The Sweet Way” Don’t be sour about it, Buy Candy.
