Misses Pauline and Irene Jenkins of Laurel, Md. spent the week end With their parents, Mr. and MrsJ Clarence Jenkins and attended the wedding on Saturday of Miss Jean Clater and Mr. Wilson Burke. C. E. Johnson III, was an over night guest Friday of Col. and Mrs. B. F. Miller of Richmond. The Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson who have recently moved to Fork Union were Friday night and Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown. Mrs. Carroll * Menefee entertained at Sunday evening supper as a farewell party for Mrs. James M. Yates and Mrs. Della Howard who are leaving shortly to make their home in Arlington. Mrs. Henry Lillard and daughter, Sally Lillard of Downingtown, Pa. have returned to- their home after a week end visit with Mrs. Virginia M. Lewis and Mrs. Ruth Menfee who also had

Mrs. Frank Bennett of j Culpepeij was a week end guest of her sisters, Mrs. Carroll' Menefee and Mrs. Carrie Eastham. On Monday Mrs. Menefee and Mrs. Eastham went tp Culpeper where they will lie the guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Durant.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler and their daughter, Linda have returned to their home in Brentwood, Md. after a week end visit with Mrs. O. B. Swindler and daughter. Miss Barbara Swindler.
Miss Peggy Pillar who has been visiting relatives in Norfolk, returned on Tuesday to hr home in the tountry accompanied by her unelp Erwin L. Morrow who was an overnight guest of his brotherin-law and Mrs. T. S. Pillar.
