Hungarian refugee students from Washington the week
April 27. She will have
luncheon guests and will ,.. recreation in the afternoon. ITese students are attending univers ties in Washington and are lea ning the F.nglish language and citizens are being asked to invite them into their homes as they h; ve no families in this country. Tiey are listed with the International Refugee Committee, who are trying to find other hosts for then.
Wool was received from the Rev f. David Menchhoffer of Owosso, Michigan that his father, Mr. J David Menchhoffer, Sr. died in East Lansing Thursday April 4. A memorial fund for ministerial students wilj be started in his ijame at the Peoples Church in that city. The elder Mr. Mmrhhoffdr visited his son when he lived in Flint Hill and spoke in his ctnfrch several times. He was Profejy or of Speech at Michigan State University.
