Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Watkins of Richmond who visited R. M. Menefee over the week end were overnight guests on Sunday of Mrs. Carroll Memefee who had as her guests for the weekend her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett of Culpeper. Miss Tish Kilby entertained a group of the younger set at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby on Saturday evening from 7:30 to 10:00. Among were Doris Ann Dodson, Mollie her guests were Doris Ann Dodson. Mollie Smith. Diane Bruce, Alice Wood. Betty Kay Kilby, Dot Payne, Judy Lillard, Sandra and Ed Lynn Menefee. Danny * Clater. P. Lee Thornton, III, Barney Pauze. Ernest Eubank, Tommv Fincbam, Joe Brown, Frank Jarvis, and David Lvne.
Edna Yates Schaefer and her mother, Mrs. Fred Schaefer were also invited to join the group. Games and dancing were features of the evening. Refreshments were served bv the hostess.
Miss Louise Schwartz was a recent over night guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Ewing and family of Harrisonburg, On Sunday the Ewings were guests of M iss ' Schartz at the hotel.
Mr. Virginia M. Lewis, her son Buck Lewis, Miss Ruth Menefee and Mrs. Ix-e Swindler were shopping in V ashington, D.C. for a day recently.
Mrs. Ida Huff was a week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swind ler, on Sunday other dinner guests in the Swindler home were Mrs. A. Lee Swindler and her son Bill. Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Devers.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Herndon and their son Beale Herndon of Alexandria spent the weekend at their summer heme, Hickory Hill.
Elder and Mrs. 1. H. Dailv were dinner guests on Thursday of Mrs. Vick Dovel and her daughter, Mrs. Ben Sedrick of Stanley.
