Cow owners interested in having their herds tested for free may contact a member of their local fire department.

Point to note: The Sperryville firemen are in the lead bv having their larger herds tested first— over Flint Hill way nine herd owners with less than 10 cows each have tested! By signing up any one of several fairly good sized herds they could be out front by comfortable brisket!

Wheat For 3 Years

Farmers on land on which no wheat was seeded for grain for anv of the years 1955, 1956 and 1957, may apply for a 1958 wheat acreage allotment, according to H. S. To be considered for an allotment on a farm which had no wheat seeded for grain for any of those years, the farmer must apply in writing to his county ASC committee by July 1, 1957.
