The bus that goes to Rankin, Pa., first Sunday, July 7, will < leave at 2 a.m. Saturday night from the First Baptist Church of Washington, Va. Everyone that is going be at the church before 2 a.m.
There will be services at the First Baptist Church, Friday night June 21 at 8 o’clock with the guest speaker. Rev. J. P. Baltimore and choir from Belle Meade, urging all members and choirs to join in sponsored by the Women’s Club.
The Baby Popularity Contest will end Sunday night, June 23 at 8 o’clock asking all contestants to br present. There will also be a small program. Come out and see which baby will be crowned.
The New ’Homemakersof America and the New Farmers of America held their annual convention at Virginia State College. Petersburg, Va. The George Washington Carver High School Chapter of New Homemakers of America of Rapidan sent five representatives. ’They were Misses Iaittie Ann Gray of Culpeper, Gloria Jett of Flint Hill. Claudine Gray of Culpeper. Lucille Lee of Culpeper. Barbara Golden of Culpeper. The girls stayed from Jorie 11 through the 14th. They said to have had a most enjoyable timer"*
