Amissville V. F. D.
Gets Tank Truck
With the purchase of a used gasoline truck the Amissville Fire Co. is building a 1250 gallon wa° ter tank truck which will be extremely beneficial for field fires as well as structure fires where no ponds or streams are within teach. The firemen themselves are doing the work which is a general overhaul fuid paint job andexpect to have it ready for, call within a a week or ten days.
At the January meeting of the Fire Co. officers for the 1957 term were reinstated to serve for 1958 and' are as follows: Ralph Rowzie * Pres,; John BoldTidge, V. Pres,; Charlie Priest, Secretary; Charlie Compton, Treasurer; Lloyd Bywaters, Chief; Tasker Woodward.' Asst. Chief; E. G. Tapp and Braxton James, Captains Paul Smith and Everett Smith, Lieutenants.
