Captain R. B. King, State Police Safety Officer, stated today that reaction to the proposed 12monlh inspection , procedure by the pubbcfcjnfonnation media and station operators has been generally in favor of the changes. ,

4959,'will permit th« motorist jto chose any of the first six mon^hs/of ■ that year in which to have his vehicle inspected. Within six months after the month selected, he must have his vehicle inspected again.
Should January be the month ' selected, the motorist will receive k sticker bearing the numeral.“7’’ jfrhich indicates rcinspection must be accomplished by the following 'July 31. Should February}* selected, the sticker will bear the numeral *’8” indicating; reinspection by the end of August. Through this means, the State Police hope to spread inspections more evenly and eliminate crowding of the official, stations.
