There were among-the defense - related authorizations voted:
I. A mutual security program calling for more than $3 billionin assistance to other nations, of which $2.4 billion is for military, aid,'-with the balance going for economic and technical assistance and speciali prOejcts. , * \2. Exchange-of certain atomic weapon information with our allies, in the discretion of the President.
3. Establishment of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, a civilian agency to co-ordinate outer space research and related studies. *
