Although a persistent rain forced the cancellation .of many out-< door activities, an early-morning hike along the Appalachian Trial was a highlight of the trip. The rain also proved beneficial, in that s |t gave tfie Scouts practice in setting up camp and cooking under adverse conditions. ' •
