We had a very interesting talk with R. V. Snead, H, letter known to his friends as Ray, and he informed us that he and George Davis, I'll had walloped the very dickens out of his “Pa”, Judge Snead and Rev. Frizzell playing football in the Snead yard over the weekend, score 42-12. AH in all it was a pretty interesting game to Bill Snead and Hazel Frizzell who #ere on the side lines.
We jHiderstand that some of the public schools in Richmond ' are having apple breaks every day. This sounds like a very sensible idea to us. After all “An Apple. A Day Keeps The Doctor Away”. Why don’t we try- it in Rappahannock where apples are so plentiful ?,
Heard that Jack Miller had the misfortune to step on a nail over the weekend and is unable to wear a shoe but he is still in the bank. Dr. Snead fixed him up.
The S.S. Frifers Club had a bake sale Saturday on the Court House Square. Members, Sarah Frizzell, Dana Snead and Susan Schaefer were the bakers as well as the sales ladies of these delicious goodies.
