Elizabeth Weber,, who had been - called to Batavia, New York be' cause of the death of her father^
The teacher of the week is Mrs. , Elizabeth Rumsey Weber, wife of the Rev; Frederick Weber of Front Royal Originally from Batavia* New York, Mrs. Weber came south as she puts it,“ when she reached the age of discretion, seventeen”. She attended the Nor- ■ folk division of William and Mary \ and graduated from that college m Williamsburg. She was an accountant in Washington, D. C. for four years prior to her marriage, after which she lived in West Virginia for. nine years, and has lived in Front Royal for the past eight.
For the 1*957-58 session at R. X.H.S , Mrs- Weber taught the commercial subjects, but this session finds her with only one business class, bookkeepings with 21 students. In' addition to 'this our teacher has two sections of tenth grade English with 55 students; two' sections of tenth grade World History, with 51 students; second year Latm tyith 11 students; .She also has charj^V the 25 pupils in 10A“ homeroom! located in the ‘‘ground-hog hole’V as the room under the stage isNlocally called
