Strength For Life
We sometimes bear men and women say, “Oh boy. this is life.” They often are living a life that is hot only worldly hut downright shameful. But such a life can never have attraction for one whose hdart has been humbled by the hand of God. They who love righteousness may be tempted to do what they feel they should not, hut this is not their way of life.
It is a sad thing to hear anyone • ^ say, “This the life," when they ire drinking down sin as the ox drinks at the water brook. i They who have never had the Spirit of God within may be satisfied with such a way of life, but “Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness".! True Christians have a desire to be, Christ like. They feel truly happy ’ when they: have their sins forgiven and they are at peace with, God.
The way of life to them is to - fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty ‘ of man. It is to see God’s wisdom, power and goodness in .all things about them. They are truly happy when they love God and .their fellow man. The things that rpd•/ ly matter are'the things that make f~, untruly happy and mefct with heaven’s approval.
